Grandparents Plus is the national charity which champions the vital role of grandparents and the wider family in children's lives. Grandparents Plus was funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families to develop "Family Life: a grandparents’ guide to supporting families through difficult times". Community Research was commissioned by Grandparents Plus to bring real people's voices into the guide by conducting a series of focus groups with parents and grandparents. The guide's draft content was discussed and explored, so that guidance could be firmly based on people's real life experiences. You can download a copy of the guide here.
